- By day, I am a safety professional, working with private employers and their employees to improve workplace safety and eliminate workplace accidents. By night, I relive my prior life when geology was central and basaltic rocks from the Newberry Volcano held my rapt attention. Along way, I remember my former days as a Sonar Technician for the United States Navy. I have worn many hats and done many things. Best of all. I live in the best place on earth, the Pacific Northwest.
